Bamburgh Capital advised Cheshire-based start-up diagnostics testing facility Alderley Lighthouse Labs, on securing funding to expand its team and product development.

Founded by Mark Wigglesworth and Simon Chapman—key figures in the UK’s Covid-19 testing efforts – the business offers a wide range of diagnostic services and is entering new markets such as oncology and genome sequencing.

Bamburgh Capital supported Mark and Simon in setting up the business and raising equity funding from Seneca Growth Capital VCT and Maven Capital Partners; and raising asset finance.
