With Houston -based SCF Partners as a strategic partner and long-term investor, Tekmar gained a significant opportunity to strengthen and expand its market leading position as a key supplier of technology and services to the offshore wind market globally. Eco-friendly welfare accommodation hire
Bamburgh Capital advised the Cruden Group on the sale Advanté, its premium, eco-friendly instant start welfare accommodation business, achieving a successful outcome in difficult circumstances.
The Cruden Group, whose core business was in construction and housebuilding, was coming under increasing financial difficulties and selected Bamburgh Capital to examine their strategic options. During the course of their review, Bamburgh Capital identified non-core subsidiary Advanté as being a business with potentially high intrinsic value. At the same time as administrators were appointed to the wider group, Bamburgh, working closely with the group’s administrators, were able to carry out a targeted sale process that was able to achieve full value, on a going-concern basis, despite the financial distress of the wider group, achieving an outcome that protected both creditors and shareholders.

Bamburgh Capital advised the owners of Jexo Tech Ltd on its cross-border acquisition by Appfire, a US company.
Jexo is a fast growing and award-winning developer that had reached a stage in their growth where they would benefit from finding the right strategic partner to take it to the next stage in its progress.

After 10 years of rapid growth, Vendigital’s external investor shareholders were looking for an exit, whilst its management needed growth capital to keep the business on its growth track, as well as a part-realisation of their own sweat capital. Bamburgh Capital helped specialist Build-to-Rent provider Rise Homes Limited to raise equity funding from private equity firm Gresham House.
Rise Homes is an innovative build-to-rent housing provider, which was seeking to develop affordable accommodation in secondary locations. Having failed to find funding with the assistance of a major, national corporate finance adviser, the company turned to Bamburgh Capital who secured equity finance from Gresham House, which unlocked substantial debt funding from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, allowing two new projects to be completed. From this foundation, Rise Homes was catapulted into rapidly becoming a leading provider of high-quality, affordable housing developer across the north of England.
